Tourism Sites to Visit
Lavonia Coastal Walk-(Taveuni Island)– A beautiful scenic walk up the coastline and into the jungle. Only about 4km in length. Guides are recommended but not necessary, because they know the about the plant life in the region and they only cost $15 FJD. Beautiful waterfalls adorn the end of the walk which you can swim through. You can also swim in the crystal clear water
Tavora Waterfalls (Taveuni Island)- Three breathtaking waterfalls. Each waterfall has a unique hiking trails, one of which you can jump off of (15 feet. Photoesque, amazing backdrops with beautiful scenery especially at the top of the waterfalls. The cost to enter is about $8 USD
Sabeto Hot Springs and Mud Pool-(Nadi) Visitors sit in mud pools, let it try and then jump into the Hot Spring. There are Three Different hot pools. There is also an option for a 30 minute massage. Entry costs apprx. $20 USD but does not include the massage. Transportation might also be an added costs.
Flora Tropical Gardens- (SavuSavu) Beautiful scenery surrounded by the widest variety of palms you will probably ever see. Very educational outing with spectacular images and beautiful plants. Many sitting nooks to sit relax, and read a book. Transportation is easy to get to and the price of admission is low. Call ahead to see if they are open.
Natadola Beach - Stunning, breathtaking view, most people would qualify Natadola beach as being a must see. Beautiful turquoise and warm waters which are also friendly to snorkeling. This is a good beach for surfing, boogie boarding and body surfing. Swimmers should however be aware that there can be an undertow. Lagoons are available for children’s swimming. Hotels in the surrounding areas offer choices for lunch or dinner.
Paradise Beach- Picturesque stunning beach, with an option for snorkeling. The beach is on Beqa Island which is usually reached by boat. Boats can also take people to designated spot, but the adventurous only need to swim a few hundred yards out.
Sunset- Beach- (Mana Island) Sunset beach is a very scenic beach, which is spectacular for sunsets, hence the name. The beach offers excellent snorkeling, but be aware that low-tide is too shallow for snorkeling activities. It is a very relaxing place where you can avoid the crowds. It is a picturesque beautiful beach with little to no wind.
South Beach- South beach is a beautiful beach with snorkeling on the outer reaches in a drop off about 120 yards out. Water sports are plentiful on the beach. It can get windy on certain days however.
Fiji Recommended Resorts
The Wananavu is a good resort for couples with option for beach front bungalows. It has a Very friendly staff, and they do include breakfast. It offers a small beach to sit in front of on lazy days. This is a quant resort with much appeal, perfect for those who want to save money for exploring their island but would still like a friendly relaxing place to relax. (From $107 a night)

Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort
Jean-Michel Cousteauc resort Option for beach front bungalows in a serene location. The site offers Excellent Food, a Laid back friendly staff and an all-around pleasant experience that keeps bringing people back. It has excellent accommodations for children. Guests can go Snorkeling and diving which available on-site. Very good for lengthy stays ($1000+ nightly)

Likuliku Lagoon Resort- Overwater Bungalows
This resort offers an amazing relaxing dream South Pacific Vacation. The beach front rooms are also a very good option. The rooms are VERY expensive up to $1000 a night for premium bungalows, yet offer a once in a lifetime experience along with an excellent staff, dining option and service.
Pros - Experience the dream of a bungalow over water.
Cons - A very steep price tag
Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort and Spa (from ($170 a night)
This spa offers and adults pool, a golf course it is located on 109 acre on the private Yanuca Island. It is only 45 minute form the airport and can be accessed with cars. It is inspired by a traditional Fijian village and every room has a suit and a private balcony with Ocean views. The resort has a wide range of activities and dining option
